yeaa, if you think that way of tiger and the duke. Lover, the lord has left us will take you for a different spin. Some really peculiar stuff on the album. Most of which I didnt like all that much. But I did fall in love with the new album.

I used to hate anything that sounded remotely screamo, then I heard this band.

I am very happy to be proven wrong!

Damn straight. Until now I've always considered Screamo, Emo and Country to be genres of piss-poor musical excrement and devoid of anything deeper than the kiddie pool, but guess there's a light of hope at the end of the tunnel after all...

The vocal style is screamo considering on of the members is the vocalist from *gasp* CHIODOS!
Not pure screamo, but they have some elements of it.

I had never heard this band until this past weekend and some friends of mine played it at their house party and I must say I was very impressed. I don't know why but I really liked the song where it was some like Arabic chick singing or something. Idk. Cool band though.

Each album is completely different. Unlike most people on here, The Ocean And The Sun has to be my favorite of the trilogy. It has more of a progressive/ambient/mathcore touch to it, whereas Lover... had more of an experimental/post-hardcore feel, and Tiger And The Duke had post-hardcore/mathcore/screamo influences.

The Ocean and the Sun takes it for me too, after tons of listens in trying to get into Lover, I found some pieces of it that were awesome..and to me The Ocean and the Sun is jus those awesome pieces mixed in with the masterpiece that is Tiger and the Duke.

Lover was just a little too experimental for me. Prayers On Fire has to be the most annoying song on an experimental album I've ever heard, and half the album was just poems that we couldn't hear, and the ending song, which is usually a grand masterpiece, was actually a joke. No, not as in "THAT SUCKED", but they were mocking a 'rule for music'. I found it disappointing, and overall too, well, empty.
Now The Ocean And The Sun was just, amazing.
