Any one else heard of them? I tried searching them but couldn't find another thread on them, so if there is...Im sorry

They are an indie/electronic mix which works really well, for the most part they are instrumental, pretty darn good. Here's some links for you

One Time etc is one of the best albums ever. Radio Protector is my favorite song.

_Spinning_ 12-27-2006 03:20 PM

<3 65DOS.

Hole is a brilliant album.

cardboard adolescent 12-28-2006 12:28 AM

One Time For All Time is pretty cool.

Sound Devastation 12-28-2006 11:46 AM

the Hole EP is my favourite of theirs. i do think they're albums are slightly overrated but respect to them for touring their asses off.. a very hard working band. im not a big fan and ive seen them 6 times :S

live they're either great or just plain dull.. depends more on the atmosphere and how it gives them energy back than how they play.

anyway.. yeah, check out the Hole EP and the Fall of Math, both better than One Time IMO.

the song Drove Through Ghosts To Get Here always kicks off my mind**** smoking mixes.

Raine 12-30-2006 12:45 PM

I like their song Await Rescue

I haven't heard the entire album but from what I have heard off it, I think it would be something I could find myself listening to almost everyday.

The best song on the album is probably drove through ghosts to get here.

I love this band - The Fall of Math in my favourite of their records. Great stuff.

One Time For All Time is an awesome album.

sleepy jack 03-25-2007 06:10 PM

No one gives a crap about the leak apparently.
hoes.

TheBig3 03-25-2007 09:19 PM

So if I download this song, I'm not going to have to make someone cry with my review? Think of the emo kids before you say yes.

Expletive Deleted 03-26-2007 03:54 PM

New album is amazing.

mrguy 03-01-2010 06:01 PM

Hearing them on Myspace, I want to get an album.
Where would be a good place to start?

Alfred 03-01-2010 06:14 PM

Can't go wrong with One Time For All Time.

mrguy 05-07-2010 05:17 PM

New album is pretty awesome.

A bit Dancey for my tastes, but still pretty immense.

Chainsawkitten 05-08-2010 12:52 PM

Can't say I like the new album, unfortunately. Way too Dancey for my liking. I'm digging their older releases, though.

I was introduced to The Fall of Math, recently, and I can't stop listening to it :) I plugged these guys into Pandora, but it keeps giving me the same 4-5 bands over and over, so I'd reeeeally appreciate some suggestions of similar artists.

mrguy 10-18-2010 09:12 PM

Screw similar artists, get 65's discography!

To be honest, I don't know any similar artists...

Spike*Spiegel 10-18-2010 09:18 PM

I've been sampling various tracks from different albums, but I'm too poor to buy any right now :'(

mrguy 10-18-2010 09:22 PM

Don't worry, you can see a few posts above when I first discovered 65. It has taken me this long to get their albums. I literally got TDOSI two weeks ago. I lost my vinyl virginity to it (it comes with the CD when you order from monotreme...they rock; the vinyl is cheap, the shipping is globally free, and TDOSI is a stunningly beautiful package).

Spike*Spiegel 10-18-2010 09:28 PM

Bookmarked. Ammo for my Christmas wish list :D

Have you heard World's End Girlfriend?

mrguy 10-20-2010 09:27 PM

Wow, just listened to WEG. They are pretty damn good!
Don't know why they are listed as comedy, and their myspace is atrocious, but still pretty good! How popular are these guys?

I do a column on this guys blog where I plug really unheard of bands, so I might do these guys next, but the criteria is they must be really unheard of... (so nowhere near the popularity of 65DOS)...

This is crazy awesome stuff.

I went to download the free song form Virgin Babylon Records, and accidentally downloaded a song from someone called "about tess" and it is also awesome!

He's right. I looked them up on youtube and I like what I'm hearing so far. Great recommendation

Is amagad a band? I can't find them on google...

mrguy 10-21-2010 03:20 AM

No, I really did nothing :P
I know it's a meme, but I wasn't sure what you were talking about... Seeing we were talking about similar bands, I thought you're post might relate...

mrguy 10-21-2010 03:30 AM

Oh okay. Sorry for the misunderstanding :-/
Where are you from? I've always though 65dos were reasonably well known, especially in the uk...
