Laura (rock, great song, album, quote, memory)

Music is what feelings sound like. I’ve always liked that phrase despite how cheesy it may be. I don’t think many other bands can paint as good a picture as these Australian do with their dark post-rock style. I think my favorite think about post-rock in general is you have to put forth an effort to catch all the intertwined and underlying stuff that if you miss it goes from being a great song to being just ok.

I dl'ed this album not too long ago from another forum. They are quite good, though I wouldn't classify them as dark.

Maybe dark isn't a good overall description but definitely when compared to bands such Tristeza, Yndi Halda and Anoice.
