Mice Parade

Mice Parade are a great catchy "indietronica" band
that sound somewhere between Four Tet and Jim
O'Rourke. Very relaxed and down-tempo with
memorable vocal lines. Check it out:

I just found this after the mass thread moves. I like this a lot. It sounds so effortless. Good call.

Your right Lee, I am digging this. I like the chillness factor to it.

Whilst searching for a certain thread I came across and I forgot how damn good this album is. From the album (not official vid):

I really like 2007's self-titled album. Though it's not indie-tronica at all to me. Sounds like pretty mellow indie rock. Definitely rock-based (Amazon samples). I know his earlier stuff was more electronic though. I have Obrigado Saudade but only listened to it once, over a year ago. I suppose I should go back to it. Checking out the Amazon samples now, it doesn't sound very electronic at all, just a few touches here and there but not enough to call it indie-tronica or whatever. Post-rock, maybe. Probably. But the new one is too straight-forward and has too many vocals to really call it post-rock. I also meant to pick up Bem-Vinda Vontade a while back but never did. I think it's somewhere in between, style-wise.
