I just got this album in the mail today. Any comments about it before I give it it's first spin?

Yeah.

pheurton 03-19-2008 05:47 PM

make sure you're at peace with yourself

Comus 03-19-2008 05:56 PM

Don't wank to it too hard while choking yourself.

socialdman87 03-24-2008 08:14 AM

suzy cream cheese. That's all you need to know.

Um, I don't know what happened in this thread. But this album is absolutely unbelievable. Incredibly hard to believe it was made in 1966.

Oh and can this PULLLEEEEZE go in Rock. Its presence in avant-garde/experimental is retarded. It was a defining ROCK album influenced by avant-garde, jazz, etc.

cardboard adolescent 05-01-2008 02:57 PM

well it's still an experimental rock album so i don't see why you'd want to put it in the rock & metal forum where it would just drown

mr dave 05-01-2008 03:10 PM

help i'm a cop!

Yeah but so is prog rock etc. which all seems to get posted in that part. I see what you mean about the risk of it drowning - I'd personally been thinking it might receive more attention in that forum (which was my main concern) as few people seem to come here :/. But maybe it'd just wither away over there too. ::sigh::

The audience don't seem too amused by the Freakshow unfolding before them. The jam in the second half is brilliant

This was one of my favs for a long ass time. Now I just respect it from a distance.

I've never heard it. But if you do like FZ, check out Apostrophe and Over-Nite Sensation.

I took a first listen to this album not too long ago and it's alright.
