I love Hypermagic Mountain. Its one of those albums where I listed to it and I thought to myself "I like this." Then the next listen I liked it more, and so on, and so on. Now I ****ing love this album. This band is extremely powerful, melodic, and noisy at the same time. Bizzaro Bike and Dead cowboy are my favorite tracks, but all of them are great.

I have a real craving to listen to Lightning Bolt right now, unfortunately I'm stuck at the library at university studying.

Can't wait to get back and stick them on.

It's tough to pick a favorite album since I love them all but I'd have to go with Hypermagic Mountain like most of you. Ride the Skies does have some of my favorite songs too.

WILL FRENZY EVER BE RELEASED!!?

There isnt really anything between Wonderful Rainbow and Hypermagic Mountain. The former is perhaps more accessible whilst the latter is more progressive. Either way you cant lose with Lightning Bolt.

I'm a pretty new fan but I like more of the songs on Rainbow. I love Birdy and Captain Caveman but the riffs on Hypermagic just don't appeal to me as much. I also find that Rainbow is a lot more upbeat than Hypermagic, so depending on my mood I'll listen to a different album.

What about the S/T and Ride The Skies? Are they generally considered not as good as the others?

I like the s/t a lot but I'd think it's probably not as accessible as their other albums.

the s/t is punkier and rawer, quite similar to Pink & Brown's stuff. I dig.
