Dunno much about him except that he's on Tzadik and is the frontman of a band called Kayo Dot. But the video here sounded pretty cool, so I'm downloading his album 'In the L..L..Library Loft', which seems to be quite highly regarded.

You should prolly go get yourself some Kayo Dot/Maudlin of the well :D. I haven't listened to his solo stuff yet though...will get it sometime soon. I assume it's similar to Kayo Dot.

maudlin of the Well first for sure, I can't really get into Kayo Dot... I guess it's something you have to hear fifty times to get. I didn't know he was doing solo stuff, is that a new album?

I really dig how he screams and growls in Kayo Dot. Though, I can't believe that he's the dude behind the screams, because I was expecting him to look a little more.... br00tal. Oh well, his solo album and his work with Kayo Dot is superb, so I'm not complaining.

I'm listening to Kandu vs. Corky (horrorica) right now. I'm under the impression that this is the scariest song on the planet. Whenever I listen to it, I get the feeling that the next few seconds will be my last. I end up getting the idea in my head that my brain is being dragged along and that nothing is real. Easily one of the most profound songs in my library.
