You might like Tim Hecker. He's tied with Boards of Canada for my favourite artist.

He's great. Seen him perform, heard a couple of lectures by him even. A legend.

I've been listening to a lot of that type of music in the early 80s, bands like Merzbow, Mnemonists, The German Shepherds, Blackhouse, Sleep Chamber, early Ramleh, Club Moral, Sutcliffe Jugend, 23 Skidoo, etc, etc, etc. Still have all that on vinyl, nice memories.
