Great album. One of my favorites. His cover of "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'" alone makes this a must buy for anybody into the weird and outsider art scene.

Crispin is one of my favorite actors, brilliant mind in my opinion.

Excellent thread, people should hear this album. It was also produced by Barnes and Barnes.. who are most known for "Fish Heads".

HA. I think I have to listen to this just for that.

I'm shocked, this is very good. Doesn't listen at all like a vanity project of a major actor(which I would have assumed if not forced to listen). Now it's not the greatest thing in avant rock history, but it's very well produced. I don't know what kind of personnel are on it, but whoever produced it knows his ****. If Glover himself did, I'm astonished.

Reminds me a ton of Zappa's spoken word pieces. Most notably 'The Adventures of Greggory Peckary'. With that said, it's not as good, and tends to take the dumber sensibilities of Zappa's humor(and trust me, as a Zappa lover, there was quite a bit of that). Yet still, it's very close to it's obvious influence, and pleasing to listen to.

Still though, well better than expected. Much weirder as well, and not a forced weird, either. Only track I didn't like was 'These Boots Are Made for Walkin'' because... seemed cheesy, and Megadeth did it way better. Still, the rest is ****ing brilliant.

These Boots... is a brilliant cover. Comparing Megadeth to Crispin is pretty odd. I can see if the two artists shared anything in common..

I love his cover, it is brilliant and warped. Like a trip to a mental hospital. Megadeth just tupped the tempo and wanked on the guitar and took away emotion and nothing else, it is not memorable or unique, just ****. Crispin did something unique and interesting with it.

uh... they both took away the emotion because they're both condescending pisstakes of the original song.

I had no idea he made music. What a weirdo. I enjoyed Clownly Clown Clown. He's so sexy! I really want to see him in Willard. <3

Yeah. Willard is just okay, nothing special... but I watch anything with Crispin.

He also did a cover of Michael Jackson's "Ben" for that movie.
