Thumbs up Pete Namlook & Klaus Schulze - Dark Side of the Moog series

I have been downloading some of their stuff and really really like it. The best way to describe it is "old school pure electronica"...very much in the Tangerine Dream mold. It's not danceable at all, but very "outer space" and very heavy in mood, with a fair amout of experimentation with different beats as well

So far I have out Vol. III and X, both are worthwhile for the adventurous.

Actually this thread belongs in the experimental section, my bad

I would love to hear these, unfortunately this thread will die the usual death. Damn shame.

I just downloaded Timewind by Klaus Schulze on a recommendation, literally have no idea what to expect of it. I shall post my thoughts ... maybe.

I now have 23 Pete Namlook releases and 56 Klaus Schulze releases, including of course the Dark Side of the Moog series. Some of the Schulze releases are 10+ discs though, so it adds up to quite a lot of aural pleasure. I just can't get enough of this sexy German ambient electronic goodness
