Here's my nomination: "La Legende d'Eer" (1977) by Iannis Xenakis. It's 45 minute piece that stands as one of his more innovative/complex electronic works. It makes an extensive use of high pitches and noise. Very interesting work.

I'll chuck in Sand - Golem. A progressive-psych album produced by Klaus Schulze in 1972. Being from Germany, the band are bracketed with the Krautrock movement, though they're certainly one of the more obscure names associated with it.

I'll nominate Harpy's "Do Not Eat". It's a strange, jazzy, proggy, spazzy, no-wavey band from Japan. Not really noisy, just strange, and fun.

This is my nomination. I don't listen to a whole lot of experimental/avant-garde music but I really like this album.

Here's what wikipedia say about this guy:

Well... yea, album clubs don't just happen once. It's continual.

Oh, right I see now. I thought we dropped the other album.

Golem is this week's winner. We'll begin discussion of it next Monday (seriously excited about this one. I listed to a few songs on Youtube and was amazed).
