Wow, I'm not familiar with a majority of them other than Can, Neu, Amon Duul and Tangerine Dream.
Thanks for the list though, I'll check them out!

Besides these artists, I also enjoy:

Ash Ra Tempel
Mythos
Xhol Caravan
Agitation Free
Embryo
Kraan
La Düsseldorf
Jane
Frumpy

For anyone wanting to delve deep into obscure German prog & psych artist, check out the Garden of Delights label as well as their excellent Psychedelic Underground various artists cd sampler series.

Joey Barton, least likely human-being to compose a top 10 krautrock list?

Anyway, mine:

3. Cluster
4. Neu!
5. Guru Guru
6. Tangerine Dream
7. Amon Duul II
8. Ash Ra Temple
9. Harmonia
10. Agitation Free

I've only listened to Can and Faust, and I like them both a lot. Which krautrock band should I check out next?

Sand, Brainticket, NEU!, Kraftwerk, and Amon Duul II are all worth your time if you're looking for good kraut.

Cant argue with any already mentioned, big lover of Krautrock.

Some others worth checking.

Gunter Schickert,...... drone guitar aka Ashra.
Cluster, less harsh electronic than Kluster.
Klaus Bloch, echo guitar musings.
Michael Hoenig, ex Agitation free, keyboard work that would appeal to lovers of Tangs Schulze.
Michael Rother, guitar / keyboards in the style of M Gottersching.
Dom, lowkey doomy mix of psychedelia, folk, electronics. (Edge Of Time)
Emtidi, for those that love Popol Vuh.
Hans-Joachim Roedelius, ambient electronic experimental.
Schicke Führs Fröhling, symphonic progressive trio.
Asmus Tietchens, Avant-garde electronic experiments.

Gila - Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee
Manuel Göttsching - Inventions For Electric Guitar ( Ash Ra Temple member)

are two really good albums that barely get a mention.
