So apparently Scott Walker is working with sunn 0))), no press release or anything yet but 4ad
posted a link to the projects website(Scott O))) ) on their Facebook page. this I've gotta hear!

This is both completley suprising and not that surprising at the same time.

Thought'll it'll probably sound sick either way.

I hate Scott Walker.

This would be about a hundred times better if the Scott Walker part was removed.

Does he only do vox? Because I agree if that's the case. However I noticed some very not Sunn-y bits in that track so I assumed that was his doing. If his vibrato wasn't so overblown I probably would have liked it a little more. We'll see where I stand when I can hear a full track/album though, because a Sunn O))) track is really a journey, who knows, maybe in context Walker sounds a bit more appropriate. It's kind of like listening to an inspiring speech from a film that relies on context and character development to really be a great speech, but stripped of its surroundings it kind of disappoints.

Or maybe I'm just a huge Sunn O))) fanboy that I'd justify anything they did.

I kinda love him. He makes me imagine if Leonard Cohen was the frontman for Iron Maiden
