This Heat
 

some sort of avantgarde post punk band that was formed in 1975.
they released two albums:
the first (self titled) is the more experimental of the two, with exceptional songs like "horizontal hold" and "the fall of saigon", and the somewhat art bears-ish "not waving".
the second, "deceit", is the more listenable and acknowledgeable of the two, with songs like "a new kind of water" and "S.P.Q.R" that are just amazing.
