Go for it. I'd recommend not doing it in rush hour though, I'm more a fan of low traffic sounds.

No it's my music. If Cage can take credit for the sound that other people make than so can I. I'm gonna record hot 97 while I'm driving and sell it as Dwn's 4'20" Composition. The driving sounds add ambient sounds which separate it from normal radio tunes.

Why not go for it all you want. Just don't be mad when you get charged for copyright infringement.

I'm not infringing it's mobile field recording. Are you saying that if someone in Cage's incredibly bored audience decided to listen to their own real music that Cage would get charged with copywrite infringement?

I'm calling bs.

You can't sue a corpse.

There is precedent for legal action against a corpse.

I don't think they punish copyright infringement with execution. At least not anymore.

Cage would not get charged with a copywrite [sic] infringement in the case you described. Because he's dead.

They also don't have a special punishment for regicide. My point is that criminal charges have been brought against corpses before.

But what punishment would be fitting? Execution is pretty extreme imo.

Financial restitution from his estate I imagine.
