Default Meret Becker

Back in late 2001 I went to a Gala at the Tempodrome in Berlin by ever wonderful Nina Hagen. Also on the bill was Jasmin Tabatabai and the other members of the fictional band "Bandits" a GREAT punk rock movie.

It was a all around great evening. But, a personal highlight came from artist Meret Becker who played a "Saw" with a violin bow. It was my favorite performance.

I bought a couple of her CDs before I came home. They're interesting, and there is a short "saw" piece. She's definitely worth checking out if you enjoy the avant garde.

She has a dot com website. I still can't post links. One day...
