Question What was your first album?
I know there are some Classical music enthusiasts out there! I'll be completely honest and say that I've never purchased a Classical CD. However, I'm looking to start, so please tell us the first album that inspired you to like Classical music.

you know come to think of it, it was a compellation with about 30 CDs with all different compositions from different classical artists, and it was like CDs 14-18
I think, I'd have to research to see what it was called

I was gonna say I don't have any classical on CD, only vinyl, but I did buy A New Hope soundtrack in 4th grade. Good stuff.

Otherwise, Tchaikovsky's Overture of 1812 on vinyl. And I downloaded Stravinsky's Rites of Spring. Both around the same time.

Verdi's Requiem here... 5 minutes later, Carl Orff's Carmina Burana. I suggest Carmina Burana first.. oh man... what a masterpiece. Also try Schubert's Mass in G.

You can never go wrong with Mozart's Requiem. Never.
