Default Beethoven's Birthday

I would just like to wish Beethoven a happy birthday (Saturday Dec. 16th, actually)
He was one of my first (musical) loves. His symphony #6 had a profound influence on me, when I was younger.
Does anyone else have some first musical loves to share? (Beethoven or otherwise)

To this day I'm still entranced by his Sonata Pathetique

I really like his Moonlight sonata, Fur Elise, and Symphony #5.

I can play part of each of those on the piano.

beethoven in particular would be symphony #7. It's all good, but it's the 2nd piece mainly, allegretto, that is my favorite thing about it.
And the vancouver symphony is doing it the day before my birthday. Yeah, I put some hints out there.
