Default Looking for music with a certain sound

So, I am looking for some classical music with a specific sound. I am pretty new to classical music and need some help. I really enjoy Coheed and Cambria's "Keeping the Blade" and would like some actual classical music that is very much the same style and sound. Could someone give me a composer, or sond title, or even a sub-genre. Any information is appreciated. Thanks.

You probably would like Philip Glass... He's a modern composer with minimalistic style. Try his stuff on Youtube. :o)

Violin Sonata No. 1 for Violin and Piano by Alfred Schnittke
Piano Concerto No. 2 by Dimitri Shostakovich (specifically the 2nd movement Andante)

But if you're looking for more of the creepy, dissonant sound then you want 12 tone, atonal music. String quartets by Anton Webern and Arnold Schoenberg.
