Default Play in a symphony? Which one?

I just figured that I might as well start a thread to find out which symphony everybody plays in and what instrument.
Just type in the instrument that you play and what symphony you are a part of. And I guess how long you've been part of that group as well. :]

I'll start off.
I play the oboe in El Camino Youth Symphony. I just moved up into Senior Symphony this year; I played in Sinfonietta last year (lower level). Our group is actually pretty big... Got 6 oboes, 5 bassoons, 8 flutes, 8 clarinets, 4 french horns, 4 trumpets, 4 trombones, 1 tuba, and a bunch of strings, of course.
For our first concert, which was last week, we played Beethoven's 7th Symphony "Eroica", Capriccio Espagnol, and accompanied 2 concerto soloists. :]

Nice! I always liked the sound of the oboe! i hear its really hard to learn though! double reed and all

I play violin in the Boulder youth symphony (3 years). really fun! we're playing the Saint-Sean organ concerto right now (absolutely amazing for anyone who hasn't heard it!) and saint-seans danse bachanalle. wicked cool.
