This subsection is really dead :(

I wish this section was as popular as the other sections like the rock and metal seciton.

Why would you want that?

SATCHMO 03-11-2010 02:43 PM

You're really on the wrong forum for that.
You should start a classical music education thread to educate the novices.
I'd be down.

more stuff to discuss I guess.

If you haven't realized it yet, this forum isn't exactly the magnet for classical music lovers.

Yeah, it's a shame we don't exactly have a lot of experts making themselves known round here. I don't listen to so much of it myself, but I'd love to learn more from a definitive thread on it myself as well.

The Classical subforum looks relatively lively to me but I'll start paying more attention it. I grew up having arguments with my father about whether 20th century composers were the real thing or not (of course, I was on the yes side but I was a rebellious little fuck) so I might have something to say. I still listen to a lot but now that you mention it I'd like to know more..

I'm a classical music enthusiast, mostly because I'm studying it in school now. I love introducing people to the more obscure pieces of music, ie stuff that is not well known to people.
