Technically, he's not a classical composer, but I'm thinking you'll enjoy these as Tomita is the first thing I thought of when reading "Alien" & "Composer" in the same sentence. I couldn't find the full Planets album, but each tune is out there on the toob separately. Lots of others too.

If you own no other media featuring the Spanish master guitarist, Andrés Segovia, get The American Decca Recordings Vol 1 on CD. Here's a short unboxing vid of the set (in Spanish) -

Spotify edition

As far as I know, they never released a Volume 2. Perhaps it's still in the works.

Milano's orchestra is the best in world of what i've heard.
AKG headphones are better for classical music than sehnheiser for classical music in my my opinion. Sehnheiser is better for rock.
Maestro Montanari is excellent. He masters excellent and he knows to let unsortted instruments into the music with playing instruments.
if you don't use to hear classical music and read this, try it out using t10 speakers or excellent headphones.

George Szell: The Complete Columbia Album Collection (2018, Sony)

Szell's recordings with the Cleveland Orchestra on Columbia are legendary and nearly unrivaled in stature. There are a few sets still available for purchase. But unless you're willing to spend $1,500 for a copy enjoy this Spotify edition that some kind soul had the fortitude to create. Some commentary by Szell:

Default Hurwitz's 2020 Top Ten

Course, it doesn't include December releases. Always a puzzle why critics compile these before Jan. 1. but Hurwitz has reliably considered taste.

I like the opera soprano singer anna netrebko from New York,
maestro Danielle Gatti. and Danilo stagni (a French horn player).

Netrebko's a legend. Her younger days -

Had a coworker who used to follow her around the world attending her live appearances. That sort of thing may be a thing of the past now.
