Thumbs up Who played this piece?

Hi there,

I have a question to ask you guys. There's a music file I have that is one of my favorites and I want to find another version of it with higher quality, since this one's bit rate is only 64 kbps. The problem is, I can't remember who the piano player is, and the file's metadata is blank.

Therefore my only hope is to upload the file (can't post the link before 15 posts, so I'll separate it like this:
mediafire [dot] com/file/30a7gbczf7rxgz9/Moonlight_sonata_%2528Piano_sonata_no._14%2529_-_Beethoven.mp3/file
and ask you whether you can identify the performer by listening to the music. IMHO, this is the best interpretation of the 1st part of Moonlight sonata, so I really want to know who s/he is. With his/her info obtained (let's hope so), finding a better quality file won't be much of a problem. So, would you help me with this?

Thanks!

I think your best bet may be to listen to interpretations on youtube and find which one you like the best. You might like this performance from Valentina Lisitsa.

Incidentally, the sonata has 3 movements and runs around 15-17 minutes, where your file seems only to have the first.

Hey, thanks for being the sole response! IMO her performance of the 1st part lacks the emphases like in the 64-bit 1. Somehow it's less emotional than the previous file.
