Both NIN and Johnny's version's of the song are brilliant. Johnny's is more calm and collected and speaks more to life experiences, while NIN is more edgy and angry and reflective. Both convey different emotions and different tones. Both are excellent in their own way.

Anyways, Johnny is one of my favorite artists. I especially enjoy the Sun records days, and then the American days. Both are good to me. Everything in between is good but mixed quality for me.

I love his Children's album as well, this song is great:

I was listening to Hank Williams and Loretta Lynn and someone told me to listen to a couple of Johnny Cash albums. Favorites: Cry, Cry Cry, I Still Miss Someone, I Walk The Line.

I love johnny cashs "aint no grave". Anyone see wrestlemania this year? undertaker used it really well to tell his story.

I respect Cash for his contribution to Country Music, etc. but his vocals are terrible. I never did consider him a very good vocalist or (personally care for his voice anyway).

he was not groundbreaking vocally, but he was not awful. Listen to "Get Rhythm" or "Rock Island Line" for example.

Still wondering if anyone can tell me what key the harmonicas are in. Ilove his harmonica playing here, I have gotten a few harmonicas, though i think they are gone.. in different keys, but not sure which ones were used by him in this video.
