Default Carrie Rodriguez: Americana Princess

I have had the recent experience of seeing Carrie Rodriguez, and think that she is going to be a big name in Alt. Country, in the next few years. Her work with Chip Taylor (did I get that right?) was great, and her new stuff is proving to be experimental, yet very mature.

I know she's a big name... not so much outside of Texas, I'm sure, but I've been listening to her stuff for years now. I didn't want to elude that she was new... I just haven't seen any threads, so I felt the need to start one...

----------------
Now playing: Cream - Spoonful [Live]

I was just listening to Carrie's "SEVEN ANGELS ON A BICYCLE", for the first time. What a great album. The band features Bill Frissel, Viktor Krauss (brother of Alison, bassist of Lyle Lovett) and Chip Taylor. Great atmosphere to the music.
