Warren Zevon

This man was a brilliant writer and piano player. Very intelligent, brilliant, and sarcastic. Has anyone else heard of him?

I love Warren Zevon. Werewolves of London takes the cake.

Of course! "Mr. Bad Example" is probably my favorite song by him.

If any of you are as much into him as I am, I highly reccomend I'll Sleep When I'm Dead:The Dirty Life and Times of Warren Zevon.

Imo "THe Wind" is his best(of the ones ive heard anyway)some beautiful songs and some funny ones on that, what more could anyone possibly want??!.......hard not to get misty eyed listening the dying Zevon singing "Knocking On Heavens Door"....."Open up open up" as he says......

Like quite a few things in this section (folk/world/country) it just seems hidden away unnecessarily. I would really put him under singer-songwriter, which I suppose people put under that other huge catch-all genre of 'rock'.
