Somehow I wound up on this guy again, am just wondering, did he ever write a great song? Everything I've heard is pretty ok, but standard and forgettable country to my ears.

^^ Those are nice. Yeah I ended up hearing a bit of Townes (great name btw), he seems to have much more pathos but also sounds more folk than country.

^These are all certified bangers. I've always been like an old country fan but recently I watched the Ken Burns Country Music thing and it's set me off on a whole thing. Flying Burrito Brothers is like the greatest shit ever.
