I didn't see these guys posted anywhere. They are absolutely amazing despite the Christian undertone. Anyone heard of them?

they are amazing! one of the best/underrated bands around. and they actually aren't Christian at all, I've read--just use Christian symbols and images metaphorically, often for vivid depictions of sexuality, youth, etc. I think they were raised in Catholic schools and therefore claim that biblical reference is kind of like a vocabulary they are familiar with to draw metaphor from and twist it into new beautiful imagery.

sure, the biblical vocab is everywhere from Dylan on down ... good frame of reference if you're trying to reach, uh, big portions of the western world ... for good or ill
