The Wind Beneath My Wings by Gary Morris

A trio of festive carols from the darling of English folk, Kate Rusby:
Kate Rusby - Candlemass Eve Kate Rusby - Serving Girl's Holiday Kate Rusby - The Miner's Dream of Home |
Bruce Springsteen - O Mary Don't You Weep
Bruce Springsteen - If I Should Fall Behind :tramp: |
^ Nice! Didn´t know that Springsteen was doing some covers of traditional songs, Americana style.
Here´s a really catchy track, Poor Old Horse, from the Albion band´s 1978 album:- |
^ Yeah, he recorded a couple of albums of traditional songs with the Seeger Session Band a few years back. Well worth checking out, particularly the 'live' album.
The Imagined Village - Space Girl |
^ Thanks for this reminder, and the other Imagined Village tracks that you posted a few pages back. I´d never heard of them before, but I´m planning to investigate them now; I´m impressed with their folk credentials and attidudes to music making.
Here´s something in a more traditional style; my favourite from Nic Jones. Has he been mentioned here yet? |
^Not heard him before but he has the classic folk voice. Very nice.
Oliver Shanti - Tara Shakti Mantra |
Ruth Moody - The Garden
Ruth Moody - Closer Now  |
Obscure Americana, please.
|
Oh, yes. And can someone explain to me the difference between regular country and bluegrass, please?
