Every two weeks the Folk And International Roots Album Club votes for an album that they will listen to and discuss in the coming weeks.
Anyone can vote in this poll, but if you vote, please follow through and be ready to discuss whichever album wins the poll.

Oh dear! It looks as if we're in for a three way tie! I think there's definitely something worth investigating about the empty, soft character of Greg Brown's "The Evening Call". It was certainly very high up for me - I will definitely add that to my list for buying in the future. "mellow" was definitely the right adjective, I think.

I guess that as previously, the win goes to the candidate who has been featuring in the polls the longest, and that honour goes to Greg Brown, who has been waiting since mid-November for his hour of glory.
Does that sound ok ? I`ll open a discussion thread for his album on Feb 21. Hope to see you there !
