Vote for a FAIR album before June 30

Every two weeks the Folk And International Roots Album Club votes for an album that they will listen to and discuss in the coming weeks.
Anyone can vote in this poll, but if you vote, please follow through and be ready to discuss whichever album wins the poll.

This week we have just four albums to choose from, but that`s not to say that there isn`t a big variety of material on offer. Take a look at these ! :-

On the international side this is a rather peaceful diversion from Armenia featuring the duduk (a traditional reed woodwind). Not particularly ground breaking but a kind of melancholy beauty.

Songs From a World Apart - Lévon Minassian and Armand Amar.

^ According to fazstp, MB`s very own V.M.Bhatt expert, this album is better than his more publicised collaboration with Ry Cooder, "A Meeting By The River" .

Many thanks to everyone who makes the effort to share their enthusiasm for FAIR music here. If we are not careful, our next poll will be down to three albums, so it`s a good time to dream up some nominations. :)

OK, this is another poll that ended up with a tie.
As usual, the win goes to the album that has been waiting in the wings longest, so our new winner is the intriguing Bourbon And Rosewater album by Vishwa Mohan Bhatt and Jerry Douglas.
We`ll be opening a discussion thread for it on July 7th, so you have a week to get your thoughts together on this one.
Thanks.

This album is a bit hard for me to find. Does anyone have a link?

Hi, mahoganyfolk, welcome to the folk forum ! Gary Higgins will get another chance to win when the next FAIR club album poll opens up on July 7th. You should give him a vote then to help him along. Have you checked out the main FAIR club thread yet ? That`ll tell you how the club operates; there`s a link to it in my signature, below.

If you haven`t already, you also might like to tell us a little about yourself on this page too :-
