Looking for a country song from around 1976
 

This is a song about a man whose wife is pregnant and he assumes it is a boy, and he goes on in the song preparing for a boy and it ends up being a girl, and the last line in the song goes, I think.."and it was just what I wanted." My wife and I heard it only once and we haven't forgotten it, since she was pregnant with our first child at the time, we just don't know the artist or the title, any help here please, and thank you.
