Plus underneath all of these you have various substyles, oidupaa kargyraa is probably the most well known.

One of the cooler things that I find about Tuvan throat singing is that the techniques are to mimick different elements of nature: wind blowing down mountainsides, water swirling through rocks, etc.
Someone said 7 types of throat singing. As I know a Mongolian musician said there are 4 types of throat singing. I know the Chinese name, but I don't know the English name. In general, I think there are three main types: high, low and high + low

In China, Mongolia Japan,....we just call it throat singing. Because throat singing isn't a Tuva's patent.

Your are right throat singing is that the techniques are to mimick different elements of nature. It has an official Chinese name, but I forgot it. Ancient nomad people start to mimick the sound of river, mountain, forest, wind and animals like cattle, sheep, horse.....In the end, this sound become throat singing. btw, If you are Asian maybe you know it, If you aren't good find.

But I'm sure you don't have any knowledge about Manchu Music---the Northeast nomad groups. In fact, Manchu isn't a typical Nomad, most of their ancestors live in forest. like a hunter and a fishman.

That's why I really want to share and talk Manchu music first.

Due to some reason, people in the world know about Japanese music, Mongol music. but, other part of Asia they have limited knowledge. even Han-Chinese music and Korean music(I'm not talk the Korean pop, all the pop music is western music and using western instrument)

If I don't talk about Manchu music, I think you never hear it before.

I can't even find the genre on a google search to check whether or not I did know any of those artists. Cough it up, what are some good albums to check out?

Also, to post youtube videos, you don't need fifteen posts. You just need to take the link (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WzrrijkzA7U, for example) and then take the bit after "watch?v=" (which would be WzrrijkzA7U in this case) and post that text in between youtube tags. Quote this post to see what the final result looks like.

(Video is not related to this thread btw, Ayler is an American artist).

Detail:
Manchu traditional plucked string instrument(it called two strings) + Manchu throat singing.

I love this Manchu throat singing and this Manchu traditional plucked string instrument so much.

Today, I just want to share this Manchu music. I’ll share more Manchu music + Manchu music trait and instrument detail on Tomorrow.

As long as you're not black, Exo will probably be cool and not ban you. It's fucked up, but it's what we've come to accept.

We'd replace him as a mod, but none of us want to do it, and neo-Nazis are good at telling people what to do.
