Song help
 

My best friend passed last year and there was a song that he loved and I don’t know the name or artist and really any lyrics, but I was hoping someone could help me. It’s a long shot. I have googled everything I can think of and have come up with nothing. He was a dj so he had a huge library of music and not all of it was popular. It’s a country song. Sing by a man, but there’s a woman with him on the chorus. Super bluesy. I think there was a line like I hear my momma praying, she’s down on her knees. And the chorus I swear had the line I’m a Losin’ Soul. But I’ve searched those lyrics and come up with nothing. If anyone can help me I’d really appreciate it. I’m missing him a lot and would love to hear that song again.
