Default Best of African Pop

Just a thread to dump some great pop tunes from the African continent.

A few from Rema (Nigeria):

Fun song but the sharp drum sound hurts my ears.

Yep those Rema songs are pretty good, adiddass. I was surprised to hear the word "lockdown" turn up in the second song!

Way before lockdowns became commonplace, this thread gathered together a bunch of Afro Pop songs, although some of the youtube clips have gone:-

That thread focuses on older style pop, most of it easily identifiable as African. For something more modern (2008, so modern to me), with a more international sound, this is a nice song from GoldFish, a S.African band:-
