Exclamation Looking for an African style of music

It was mentioned by Carlos Santana on his Audible book/podcast called “Light, Spirit, and Soul”, in chapter 7 at about the 3 minute mark.

I am not sure how to spell it, it is pronounced:

Ah-gwah-He-da

Maybe Agwahida, Aguahyda?

Any help would be greatly appreciated ❤️

Actually, what you're looking for is more specifically Cuban.
What he's saying is "There's nothing more arousing to the females than a guajira."
The guajira started in Spain in the mid-1800s and found its way to Cuba around 1900.
Probably the most famous guajira-son would be Fernández' "Guantanamera"
which became very popular in the 60s.

Also, at the end of your excerpt, he's telling you that this is connected with
another Cuban genre known as "timba" - which is Cuban son mixed with salsa.
