Country music scene in UK
 

I'm glad to see a section devoted to country music.

There doesn't seem to be enough of it around in this country!

I'm sure there is a demand for more current UK country artists in the charts??

What does everyone think??

Hmm...well not really sure about this. Is there actually any artists that are country that come from the UK? I was unsure about that. Personally I think Country is more of a genre of music that belongs to the US due to the fact that it originated in this country. However its sad that its not as well known and popularly demanded in other countries as it is in this country. Sorry if I sounded snobbish..dont intend to be.

You must be American. I can name off about 100 country artists is Canada. Its too bad that they don't get reconized by American Stations. Like Gord Bamford & Corb Lund Band, Huge in canada but Not even heard of in the u.s. Cmt Canada does a awsome job showing those artists that don't get reconized by the big producers. But, some Canadains have made it big down there. Like Shania Twain And Jason McCoy.
