Sell your timeshares as full time rentals for 12 bucks a month and get back to me

Musicians shouldn’t expect to make money off of recordings. The records should entice people to see them live. It’s their responsibility to make the live experience worth paying for.

Why would I support going back to the days when I marched my paychecks right down to the music store.

Another thing is that recorded music has only existed for about a century. Before that all musicians were expected to perform for an audience.

Bottom line: You wanna get paid? Put on a show, bitch.

And I feel like I have every right to talk. I’ve never met anybody irl my age who has spent a higher percentage of their lifetime income on music than I have.

I probably have more music on vinyl than you have on all mediums combined.

Timeshare mother****er **** talking me. **** that.

Huh? Spotify doesn't pay anyone to host their music, they only pay for streams.

Streaming is convenient as **** so I encourage everyone to do that. I also encourage everyone not to be ****ty fans who swap buying physical music/merch/tickets for streaming.

You tour the south and I’ll make the road trip, buy a ticket, buy your merch, and buy your ass a ****ing beer and a hamburger. And if you’re too tired to roll out you can crash at my place for free. Use my ****ter, take a shower, eat my eggs.

But I ain’t paying nothing online though.

You don't think that's also kind of archaic?

Also my philosophy is more from a fan's perspective of wanting to contribute to artists who I want to see succeed than an artist's perspective of wanting to be on the receiving end of that.

Just an odd juxtaposition imo. Buying merch online is just as good as buying it at a show.

Nah. You gotta do your song and dance for the fine people of Florida first. And look into my redneck eyes when I hand over that cake.
