Actually, did you know that Nazi stands for National SOCIALIST German Workers' Party? From what I can tell, a lot of socialists seem to be on the left!

This heated war between the one uncharitable right-wing conspiracy theorist and the cabal of pretentious pseudo-psychosociologists is pretty funny.

Yeah but it was never as palatable as when it went "alt-right". The alt-right (and the Tea Party before it) made it okay to lean fascist in polite society.

"Pretentious" is a loved word by the right because the right value instinct and phony "common sense". It makes the left seem out of touch and effete.

That makes me think that you've been called pretentious many times in the past and instead of actually thinking about how it applies to you you've instead warped it to be a derogative used by your opponent that has no meaning when in fact does.

But look at me, psychoanalyzing. I've become what I hate.

I don't have a sister and if I did she'd likely be riddled with cooties so no can do.

Wait until you see the homeschooled kids misread an atmosphere before elbowing their way into conversations with elitist dismissal as a way to fit in!

@Bat

something I've learned from living in Texas is people are way more leftist here than they even know, the current Democratic leadership just seems to do everything it can to look down on the common man

Yeah so keep voting for Hillary Clinton and her love for the people.

Not really no. I mean have you met me? I'm a belligerent abrasive boor who uses profanity as punctuation. I spent much of my early years as a conservative, spent much of my 20s as a moderate who tried staying away from political discussions after becoming disgusted with my former conservative politics, and only in the last few years have become a pretentious liberal blowhard. I'm not elph. I don't have a history of being called pretentious. I just recognize that right wing ideology in many ways is anti-learning as things like science and philosophy are a threat to traditionalist views.
