^ As on many of the fundamental moral issues, I'm still trying to work out my own consistent position. On stealing, for instance, I generally disapprove, but in England we have this whole Robin Hood ethos that in a corrupt society, poor people stealing from rich people is ok, so I find it hard to take your absolutist line that they are asterisks.

Mexicans are very inventive when it comes to stealing: they take electricity too, by hooking up illegal connections:-

But it's a ****ty, 100% dull souvenir sword that an uncle gave to me when I was 10-12 years old.

It's some kind of rapier I think.

My dad used to have a whole collection of swords. He had this big one with a demon face on the handle.

I think he's smacked somebody with the broad side before. I don't remember. Might be the one time he smacked my brother so hard with the broad side of a knife that it broke.

You're the only one here saying that.

If you're going to steal, steal from a large corporation who pays its workers poorly so that the executives can get a big paycheck [like WalMart]. Don't steal from friends and family and those who it will really hurt.
