Trying to follow this conversation is really hard. I have no real idea what you guys are arguing about. Even after reading all posts from today.

What's happened is angry liberals jumped the gun to call something racist with out getting the context and now they look bad and the MAGA crowd has more ammo to deny any kind of racism that happens in their group. The rhetoric of liberals being overly sensitive race baiting war mongers drives people into Trumps crowd out of spite, and continuing a crusade against people for something they're not guilty of because "they're probably still racist" is stupid and adding more fuel to the fire.

Out of context photo of a non-confrontation/non-issue became scandalous, then when the context emerged, both sides blamed the non-confrontation/non-issue on the other side, and now a segment of MBers are reminding them that they're all morons for doing so.

Without knowing the details (not gonna watch 1 hour and 40 mintues of that video of people standing around rambling), I agree with the general sentiment. Jumping the gun with bullying and bad faith preconceptions is never a good look, whether you're right or left.

But as far as the specific case, I've got like 0.001% understanding of the issue. I agree with Frown that you need to know exactly what's really going on to make judgments.
