Oh man as disgruntled as I've been the last half year cause of COVID and how insanely busy we've been I probably would have lost my **** and hopped the counter. As degrading as this job is and you want to make it physically humiliating? I think I might have had a bipolar snap and grabbed any one of the numerous heated objects that would have been between me and the counter (ngl I'm not brave enough to fight hand to hand) and beat that ****er down with a metal fry basket just out of the grease. If there was a basket of fries or something down in the grease I'd have probably given an internal evil smile and hurled them all over that ****er.

I'm not trying to sound hard but at any time of day at work I am like THAT ****ING CLOSE to losing my **** these days and this is exactly the kind of thing to put my blinders on and turn my thinking brain off.

Not even denying I'm a pussy, but the commotion of some scumbag slapping one of my people while I'm standing there miserable hating every second of the day could be just the thing to destroy my cool and make me an irrational crazy person.
