They weren't sure if the first four shots worked either so they shot him a fifth time.

If it turns out he had a gun in his car, those cops are going to get off with a slap on the wrist. If it plays out any other way, there will be consequences for them.

Surrendering to a slave master in front of your children is “bonkers”. Blacks have been backed into a corner for 400 years. What are you supposed to do when there’s no safe passage and never has been?

Complying with the police is not "surrendering to a slave master"

Unbelievable.

Not sure what you mean by consequences. The defense case would simply be that the possibility existed that he was reaching for a gun and the police had no way to know, right?

Not to mention, there was an arrest warrant out for this guy. If police ran his plates before confronting him, they would've found out that there was a warrant out for his arrest and that he has a history of assaulting police.

If you were forced to comply with everything I say on penalty of death, wouldn't you feel a bit like a slave?

Spend a few months in county lock up because you can’t make bail and then get blackmailed into pleading down insanely trumped up charges and start your two year stint in a state penitentiary then tell me how ****ing unbelievable it is.

I think there could be legal and also other kinds of consequences for these officers. One thing to look at is the excessive force angle, another is the fact that the guy's kids were there in the car and therefore at risk of being hurt or even killed because the police decided to unload a gun in a tight space.

Jacob made some bad decisions. The officers didn't make good decisions to deal with Jacob's actions. Basically, 'Murica.

The sick bastard broke the officer's knuckles with an expert headbutt!
