Yeah, watching how people had to drive with flames literally engulfing everything on both sides of the road is heartbreaking.
I don't live close (7hr drive), but I think everyone in alberta knows someone who was up there. the company I work for has about 9 buildings up there and they are part of my scheduling portfolio. All of them could be destroyed in the next couple days. I was talking with the lead up there on Monday and she and all of our staff was unaffected and doing fine. It's crazy that 24 hours later everyones gone and may lose their homes.
