He hides behind it whenever someone throws an accusation of homophobia at him ("if I'm gay, how can I be homophobic?" is the one I've heard him use after saying some seriously homophobic ****). His distrust of the LGBT community as people who aren't being genuine about their sexuality/gender tells me a lot about his own approach to his presentation of his sexuality. So it's either self-loathing or fake, and his trollishness makes me think it's the latter.
