I wonder how the AG stuff of the last decade would compare to the AG stuff from 40 years ago?

Not trying to play the age card here FTR.

It was as yellow/gray as a tumbleweed and kicked you in the head harder than a Budweiser Clydesdale. It was more like tripping than just being royally stoned.

The only time I've ever gotten so high from weed that it felt like I'd fallen off of the planet was from some mid 70s AG.

My guess would be that it crushes it since growing technology gets more funding than cancer research. My dad, who was smoking as recently as the 90s, can't smoke today's pot because it wrecks him too much. I actually have to look harder for weak **** to sell to him than for the bomb **** I want for myself :laughing:.

Today’s weed is much stronger than what we smoked in the 90s. And that was beautiful sticky bud, too. But if you smoke today’s **** expecting the easier going old school high you’re in for a rude awakening. I think the high is mellower if the weed has red hairs more than all those white THC crystals. I actually think the obsession with THC content in today’s strains make the buzz too racey.

I go with indica and start slow. Otherwise I’ll get paranoid.

i remember being at a friend's house one time when someone came over to buy some "vertex 10" or some **** like that and i had to sit there and try not to laugh while these dudes kept throwing the most outlandish strain names out there.

I dig that high THC content as a sativa man. Gets me in a good creative space.

From the early 80's until now, it's been an interesting progression for weed names:

80's - Sensimilia (Sens)
90's - Hydroponics (Hydro)
00's - Kush/Kind (wtf??... Dude, you got any kind? lol)
10's - Just pick 2 names from a hat

Not if you're a legal grower. There's pretty strict naming conventions that you can lose your license for not sticking to in Washington.

Anyway you forgot to mention OGs, Cookies, and Cakes.

It's just what it seems, from a non-growers perspective.
