I don't think that this is exclusive to our current system but rather that it's ubiquitous across every system that we've attempted that involved money. The burden of proof is now on you to show a system that successfully separates power and wealth.

I suppose that the real disagreement here might be that an ever-present opportunity for oppression isn't the same as oppression and I guess that comes down to opinion.

That's not how burden of proof works.. What claim did I make? I rejected a position and gave my reason for uncertainty. I also already conceded given a demonstration i'd happily switch sides.

Other than that I have no problems agreeing on the rest of your comment. I'm a little iffy on the ever-present vs oppression, but i'll take it.

In your rejection, you said that oppression isn't inherent to money due to the fact that it has to be paired with a system for its oppressive nature to manifest. I responded to this by saying that it doesn't make sense to separate money from its system due to the fact that money does not function without being accepted into a system to circulate within. If you agree with that as well as what I consider oppression, then in order to justify that wealth doesn't equal oppression you have to (should is the more appropriate word here I guess) show an example where a system that utilizes money doesn't also give the wealthy unfair influence on that system, because as of now I can't think of any governments or models that align with your assertion.

You weren't banned and your content was deleted for insults, not for swearing. Hope that clears things up.

You mean like how he actually went out and took part in protests along side working class folks? Yeah, he's totally all talk.

2) He didn’t challenge the industrial military complex
If you'd followed the man in anything other than what CNN tells you, you'd understand that this is also inaccurate. You just have to do some basic research that I ain't about to do for you. If you wanna be ignorant, that's fine.

3) He’s rich his damn self
The problem isn't with being successful - the problem is with what you do with your money and how you live. Warren Buffett is wealthy but he has a relatively modest home, while Donald Trump has significantly less and has his own skyscraper and homes with millions of dollars worth of gold in the walls and ceilings alone. Again, learn your **** or I'mma just assume you're ignorant.

This is bull**** too - you've already made up your mind about him saying that **** like he's "preaching" and he's on his soapbox. He said what everyone knows is wrong, but you all think he's just blowing smoke up your ass and he couldn't possibly be genuine or have anything to offer as president. You'd rather play it safe with Hillary or something, and that's why we ended up with Trump.

He gets his political opinions from youtubers so I'm not sure if he can. Essentially every discussion with him leads to "conservatism because conservatism because conservatism btw **** liberals because conservatism"
