IF I voted, which I wouldn't, I would have to vote against McCain. Not exactly voting for Obama, but McCain is another spineless GOP lobbyist puppet. Anybody who wants to continue to pursue an unjust war, and start another with the next most powerfully nuclear armed country in the world is ****ing psycho.
Of course Ron Paul doesn't get a real opportunity, and he is by far the most qualified and intelligent candidate. If it wasn't so easy to brainwash the mass public then maybe it would be a different story, but really what are you gonna do? Everyone freaks about how he would radically change everything by abolishing the IRS and messing everything up. To that I say bull****, there is a reason there are checks and balances.... so nobody do such a thing. He would bring about as much change as possible by one branch of the government, which is probably what we need. As far as gun control goes, we should definetly have the right. It is a foundation of this country, and self defense should be a guaranteed right. I also believe that it should be about 10 times harder to obtain a gun. As in a license for every gun, not just handguns; this along side a strict and rigorous background check for any and all guns... along with a limit to the amount you may own (to prevent black market sales). |

Those Obama points really show the ignorance of the author. Especially the last one Unfan cited. Somehow it's good to be a Christian and believe in a god that does not exist, but don't you dare be a Muslim. And Wow Obama's dad is Kenyan, we'll never beat him in a marathon.
We are not at war with Muslim's we are war with Terrorists. And for the record Christians are responsible for more deaths historically then Jews and Muslims combined and they did it a whole lot faster. |
I have pretty much given up on a viable candidate...neither of them show any promise for me. Why can't we vote in a genius anymore? I mean I don't care if he is a muslim/hindu transvestite who has done heroin as long as he is smart and WILL MAKE THE RIGHT DECISIONS. I am not sure Obama or McCain will make the right decisions with the economy or the military. Character is overrated as long as they are loyal to America, I'll take Richard Nixon over Jimmy Carter any day.

Blame Lee Atwater. Heck, blame the "holier-than-thou" people who criticize any perceived "moral" shortcomings in a candidate simply to serve their own paranoid ends. |

Neither of them seem correct? They not exactly similar, you don't find one preferable to the other? Do you find many people you agree with completly on every issue? Smart people don't always make the best decisions. I don't know if a genius would deliver you from whatever problem it is you're finding with the electoral system. |

Republicans and Democrats are nearly identical in terms of actions. On words they differ quite a bit but they both favor more government and more taxes and no one wants that do they? You asked rhetorically if you find many people who agree unanimously with anyone else. They are called republicans and democrats. They almost never break party lines when t comes to voting nor would they speak out against the actions of their own. Less Intelligent people also make incorrect decisions; in fact more frequently then those of a higher intellect I might suggest. Finding a problem with the electoral system is like finding an underage gymnast on the Chinese Olympic team. They can deny it all they want but we know the truth. |
