i heard no way as well but not as clearly

At first I hear two sound, not words. Listening to it long enough, I, too, hear 'no way', but the words are coming from two different voices.

indeed it is, isn't is strange how the words seem to drift out of the ether and become more definite?

at first i heard 'Bueno bueno bueno bueno...'

then I listened to it backwards and heard 'So here's to my Sweet Satan.
The other's little path

dammit all to hell, i thought this would be a discussion of hypnagogic hallucinations.

that's an illusion, not a hallucination, CA. hallucinations take place in the complete absence of a stimulus, illusions are just distorted perceptions of a stimulus.

there's always a stimulus...

also, i titled the thread to sound interesting, not to embody the spirit of accuracy.

Since jackhammer suggested 'window' I can hear it in the background, but 'no way' remains prominent. 'Domei' is now present to my ears too...whatever that means.

Thats what I thought too, unless youre in a completely empty dark room floating?

you could put someone in a sensory deprivation tank and they'd probably start hallucinating and you can call it a hallucination because it doesn't respond to an 'external stimulus,' but how do you know those external stimuli weren't hallucinations in the first place? there's really no difference. the stimulus comes from within rather than without, the only difference between kinds of experience are the way they integrate with other experiences. integrating experiences is nothing other than 'interpreting' them, and we can call a false interpretation an illusion, but in that case 'illusion' just refers to a difficulty integrating, whereas in this case it is rather an ease of integrating an experience of random sounds into the perception of a word. if the ability to transmute chaos into static concepts is useful and helpful (i hint that it is essential) then it is not an 'illusion,' but rather reality. as such i prefer to use the word 'hallucinations,' because it implies that while organizing chaos into order is not illusion, but the essence of reality, we can still call reality a hallucination and preserve the idea that the stimulus, while not absent, is not what it represents itself as.

i'm not trying to delve into semantics.

but there's a huge difference between an illusion and a hallucination; it's the line that separates psychosis from normal perception. "the spirit of accuracy" has nothing to do with it.

I just hear "no way no way no way" though sometimes it sounds more like "no way-o no way-o no way-o".

Lots of "no way" an "no", but i also heard "bang," "wink," "weak," and "help me." Creepy.

I know the last one may sound a little far fetched, but I swear that's what I heard.

Nobody, windmill, rain now, rainbow, bueno, right now, no way, broadway, snowflake.. I listened twice.. Kinda started to freak me out...

I heard no way at first, then I heard random, then Randel. Halfway through I began reading what other people heard, when I read that cardboard heard rainbow, it slowly began to sound like rainbow to me. It seemed to happen with most of the word I read. I think I may have heard no way and random first because before I clicked on the link, I read the first couple of replies. "No way" is always present out of the right speaker of my headphones, while the left seems to be where all of the other words are coming from. "No way" sometimes sounds like "no wah."
