i hear 45% of US fuel comes from that area so gas(petrol for the Euros) is scheduled to rise 20 cents this week.

I don't know about overseas, but all the morning news shows are constantly covering it.

i heard that the water pumps are pitiful in New Orleans and that the flooding has potential to reach 25 feet, which could submerge the city.

I just got back fromm down there a couple weeks ago. We were dropping off my sister who started college a week before they had to get evacuate. So my sister and her room mate who is from New York just went with some guy they met and took off to central Louisiana. Being down there before I can only imagine what the place is going to look like when its all flooded. All of the major highways are baisically bridges tjhat are only like 20ft above water so the roads will probobly be trashed.
